As an attorney, Rohit Chhabra has worked towards successfully patenting a number of patent applications in diverse areas, including technologies related to computer hardware/software, robotic based systems, network systems, kernel security techniques, heart pumps, contraceptive devices, silicon wafer annealing processes,and mechanical and electronic devices.

 

Rohit provides patent counseling services in software and computer technology areas and has worked extensively in  kernel level security, augmented and virtual reality, ad-tech, fin-tech, blockchain cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and network security related technologies.

 

His recent achievements include successfully procuring numerous patents for his clients in USPTO departments notoriously known for not granting patents and having an overall 95% failure rate.

 

Before becoming a lawyer, Rohit worked as a software developer at EDS (now a subsidiary of HP). While at EDS, Rohit developed Medicaid applications for various state governments, including the (internal/backend) systems currently being used by the governments of Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida for processing Medicaid claims.

 

Before starting his own practice, Rohit was a patent attorney at one of the top law firms in San Jose Area, representing many technology giants in the Bay Area.

 

Rohit is passionate about the causes he believes in, especially the disparity of representation of the under-privileged community. Rohit has worked at the Public Defender’s Office where he aggressively defended the rights of those in need. Rohit currently volunteers for the San Francisco Bar Association’s Justice & Diversity Center.
