Provisional Patent Example

A provisional patent example template is provided free of cost, for personal use only. Using this template you would be able to file a basic provisional application, without an attorney.

provisional patent exampleOnce you have written your disclosure review it thoroughly before contacting a patent professional to review your documents.While a provisional application does not have any formal requirements, the application cannot be filed without a written description, drawings, a cover sheet that lists all inventors and a filing fee. Further, you do not need formal drawings. You may simply draw them by hand, preferably on a plain, white sheet. Optionally, reference numbers can be used on the drawings and explained in this document.
