Rohit Chhabra holds bachelors and masters degrees in Computer Science along with a Juris Doctor degree and has been admitted to practice law in New York and California. Rohit is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO and assists both domestic and international clients.
Rohit has worked towards successfully patenting a number of patent applications in diverse areas, including technologies related to computer hardware/software, robotic based systems, network systems, kernel security techniques, heart pumps, contraceptive devices, silicon wafer annealing processes,and mechanical and electronic devices.
As a patent attorney, Rohit provides counseling services in software and computer technology areas and has worked extensively in kernel level security, augmented and virtual reality, ad-tech, fin-tech, blockchain cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and network security related technologies. His recent achievements include successfully procuring numerous patents for his clients in USPTO departments notoriously known for not granting patents and having an overall 95% failure rate.
Before becoming an attorney, Rohit worked as a software developer at EDS (now a subsidiary of HP) prior to becoming a lawyer. While at EDS, he developed Medicaid applications for various state governments, including the (internal/backend) systems currently being used by the governments of Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida for processing Medicaid claims.
Rohit was a patent attorney at one of the top law firms in San Jose Area, representing many technology giants in the Bay Area Before starting his own practice.
Rohit is passionate about the causes he believes in, especially the disparity of representation of the under-privileged community. He has worked at the Public Defender’s Office where he aggressively defended the rights of those in need. He currently volunteers for the San Francisco Bar Association’s Justice & Diversity Center.

He has experience working and litigating matters in a vast number of legal areas, including intellectual property litigation and internet defamation. Andrew Rees holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is on the path of becoming a patent agent. Andrew works under the supervision of Rohit Chhabra and assists the firm with pre-application drafting of the technical aspects of the invention.
Andrew lives in San Francisco and is a people-person, enjoys river rafting, traveling, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.
